Known limitations
- 01SOL-quoted markets only for buys in this release
Markets quoted in another asset, such as Stonk.fun pairs quoted in a tokenized stock or USDC, are detected and shown with a non-SOL quote indicator, but the agent will not buy them until it can hold the quote asset. Sells of existing positions work wherever the token trades.
- 02Public RPC rate limits
With the default public Solana RPC, market lookups and balance reads can be throttled, which shows up as slow pages or temporary "unverified" values. A paid RPC endpoint is recommended for execution.
- 03Quotes expire in 8 seconds
Curve prices move fast. A quote is valid for 8 seconds; the engine re-quotes before sending and refuses to build a transaction from a stale quote. The estimate you see on a market page is not a price you are promised.
- 04Stop-loss is a trigger, not a guarantee
A stop-loss is a trigger that attempts to sell at available prices, not a guaranteed exit price or maximum loss. If the mark is unavailable because no route exists, no trigger fires and the position is flagged as unvalued instead.
- 05Migrations take a few seconds
When a curve completes and liquidity moves to its destination pool, there is a window of a few seconds, sometimes longer, during which no route exists. Orders in that window are recorded as no-route and the agent keeps watching.
- 06Jupiter fallback has no pool reserve
When a token is reached only through the Jupiter aggregator, the route reports no single pool reserve. Available liquidity is inferred from price impact rather than read from one pool.
- 07Mobile wallet sign-in needs an in-app browser
Sign-in uses the wallet's injected provider. On a phone, open Kestrel inside your wallet app's browser (Phantom, Solflare). Mobile Safari or Chrome without the extension cannot sign the login message.
