Worked example: a 1 SOL buy on a venue charging a 1.00% fee
  • Trade size: 1 SOL
  • Venue fee (1.00%, paid to the venue, not to Kestrel): 0.01 SOL
  • Kestrel trade fee (0.50%): 0.005 SOL
  • Network fee (incl. priority, estimated): 0.00001 SOL
  • Total cost on top of the trade: 0.01501 SOL

Venue fees vary by venue and pool; the exact fee lines for each order are shown on the order page, marked estimated until the transaction confirms.

What Kestrel never charges
  • No deposit fee. Transfers into a trading wallet are plain SOL transfers.
  • No withdrawal fee (0 bps). Withdrawals go to your sign-in wallet; you pay only the network fee of that transfer.
  • No fee on failed, expired, rejected, no-route or unfilled orders. The Kestrel fee applies to confirmed fills only, on the quote side.
  • Paper mode is labelled as paper everywhere it appears and charges nothing.
  • No subscription. Rules mode and AI mode both pay only the trade fee. A paid tier for extra features, if one is ever added, is announced on this page before it applies.
Venue fees (paid to the venue, not to Kestrel)

Each venue charges its own fees inside the swap. The quote lists them per order as estimated lines; after confirmation they are replaced with the actual amounts parsed from the transaction.

PumpSwapLP fee, protocol fee and creator fee, per Pump.fun's PumpSwap config. Shown as venue-lp, venue-protocol and venue-creator lines.
Raydium LaunchLab (Stonk.fun)Protocol fee, platform fee (Stonk.fun's platform config charges 1%), and a creator fee, all read from the pool's config on-chain.
Raydium CPMMThe pool's fee tier. LaunchLab graduations land on the 0.25% tier; other pools can differ and the actual tier is read from the pool.
Meteora Dynamic Bonding CurvePer-config: each launch config sets its own base fee and optional dynamic fee. Read from the config account at quote time.
Meteora DLMMDynamic fee: a base fee plus a volatility component that rises when the price moves fast. The quote shows the fee at that moment.
Meteora DAMM v2Per-pool fee set when the pool was created, read on-chain. Graduated DBC launches keep their migration fee settings.
Jupiter aggregatorThe fees of whichever pools the route passes through, as reported by the Jupiter quote. Kestrel adds no routing fee.
Network and priority fees

Every Solana transaction pays a base network fee (5,000 lamports per signature) plus an optional priority fee the engine sets from recent fee levels, capped by KESTREL_MAX_PRIORITY_MICROLAMPORTS. Both are shown on each order as a network line, estimated until the transaction confirms and then replaced with the amount actually charged.

A failed transaction that reached the network still pays its network fee; Kestrel charges nothing on it.

Token-2022 tokens with a transfer fee deduct that fee on every transfer. It is shown as a token-transfer-fee line and reduces what you receive; the agent can be told to skip such tokens.
